The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScriptBuild and enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworksCollaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and requirementsIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testingAnalyze test execution results, identify defects, and coordinate resolutions with engineering teamsEnsure maximum test coverage for critical application workflowsPerform cross-browser and cross-platform testingContribute to QA best practices, process improvements, and automation standardsRequired Skills & Qualifications6–8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test AutomationHands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript (Mandatory)Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScriptExperience with testing frameworks/tools such as Jest, Mocha, or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CIExperience with Git and version control practicesGood understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsGood to HaveExperience with API Testing (REST / GraphQL)Knowledge of Performance or Security TestingExposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with Docker or containerization toolsExperience with test data management and mocking frameworksSoft SkillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong attention to detail and quality-focused mindsetAbility to work independently as well as within a team environment
