Job Title: Radiation TherapistLocation: Houston, TXJob Type: Contract (13 Weeks, with possibility of extension)Schedule:Shift: Day ShiftHours: 40 hours per weekTiming: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver safe and effective radiation treatments to patients. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, ensure accurate treatment delivery, and support patients throughout their treatment journey.Responsibilities:Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patientsPerform simulation and treatment setup proceduresConduct basic dosimetric calculations as requiredOperate and calibrate radiation therapy equipmentMonitor patients during treatment and assess reactionsProvide education and support to patients regarding treatment plansMaintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient careCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical physicistsEnsure compliance with radiation safety and clinical protocolsRequirements:Experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical settingStrong understanding of radiation therapy procedures and safety standardsAbility to work effectively in a team-based environmentExcellent communication and patient care skillsEducation:Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy programCertifications & Licensure:ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification requiredState licensure (Texas) required or eligibleBLS Certification preferredFor more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
