Sr. Project Manager - Manufacturing & QC Labs.

**This role is not eligible for relocation assistance**Zifo is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage one of Zifo's strategic multi-year programs for a marquee customer based in the Saratoga Springs, NY area. The senior project manager will assist in planning, orchestration, and execution of projects across the IT and Research & Development teams. There will be multiple, concurrent projects that are all in support of the opening and operation of a new lab space in the Saratoga Springs, NY area.The engagement will require working across technical and scientific digital enablement teams including:Core IT (Examples: networking, conferencing & collaboration, MDF/IDF)Applications (Examples: ELN/LIMS/Data Capture/Registration systems)Automation (Example: High-throughput screening/workcell assay automation)RequirementsResponsibilities:Project ManagementPlanning and coordination of the project deliverables and project team on a day-to-day basis, and act as the central resource for team communicationLead project scope and deliverables definition in concert with project champion and key stakeholdersAccountable for the documentation, communication, and mitigation strategy development for risks to schedule, scope, resources, budget, and quality.In coordination with project champions, conducts start-up meeting with project team to identify roles and responsibilities.Manage projects - experience and ability to use both waterfall and SAFE agile methodologies:Ensure projects progress according to project schedule, scope and budgetManage interdependencies between the project and other initiativesResponsible for direction setting in project and securing productive working climate in the projectDesign and execute efficient change managementProject governance and steeringPrepare and present project status for various committees incl.
