Bartender

Job Overview We are seeking a high volume/ high polish Bartender for The Living Room Lounge. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service environments. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in a lively setting. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet service is highly valued. The successful candidate will be proficient with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and processing payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages. Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service according to legal requirements. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, including catering or banquet events. Handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours while maintaining a professional demeanor. Assist in setting up for special events such as nightclubs or banquets when required. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately. Experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of the food industry standards. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special event shifts as needed.
