Whatever your passion, whether it's nurturing young minds through pediatric language development, addressing the needs of adults with neurogenic disorders, or guiding seniors through cognitive-linguistic challenges, this role offers the variety and fulfillment you seek.Your Role UnfoldsAssess patients from various age groups, employing standardized assessments and keen observational methods.Craft tailored treatment plans that balance immediate objectives with long-term communication and swallowing goals.Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions, emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing enhancement.Work in concert with a team of healthcare professionals, including occupational and physical therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to develop cohesive care plans.Facilitate educational sessions for patients and family members to support therapy goals beyond clinical interactions.Undertake occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless patient care.Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with local, state, and national guidelines, reflecting the high standards of your practice.Engage in ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of speech pathology advancements.Your QualificationsMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified. What We're Looking ForLicensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is desirable.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
