Database Administrator

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Design, build, deliver, and support highly available, scalable, real-time data persistence for mission-critical applications.• Proactively monitor database health, optimize SQL code, and address performance bottlenecks.• Design and implement database schemas and structures according to project requirements.• Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and replication issues.• Implement security measures, set up user permissions, and ensure compliance with data protection policies.• Develop and maintain documentation for database environments, including data standards and procedures.What You'll Need• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least eight (8) years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.• Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a database administrator.• Minimum of five (5) years of Oracle Database Administration experience, specifically with Oracle 12c, 19c, or later.• In-depth experience implementing and maintaining database security.• In-depth experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.• Experience with procedural languages such as PL/SQL and proficiency in PL/SQL development and optimization.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($87,100 - $157,450) plus potential for additional benefits.• Opportunity to work on high-impact programs supporting critical missions.• Professional development and growth opportunities within a leading technology organization.• Comprehensive benefits package including health, wellness, income protection, paid leave, and retirement.Apply via Haystack today!
