Web Developer - Wordpress

Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 annually

Schedule: 40 hours per week remote but client requires residency in Pennsylvania

Position Overview: We are seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer with wordpress experience, strong front-end background, and the ability to contribute to back-end development. This role will focus approximately 60% on front-end development and 40% on back-end development. The ideal candidate has strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and API development. We're looking for someone who can independently manage projects, collaborate with creative and technical teams, and bring fresh ideas around emerging technologies, including AI.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build responsive, mobile-friendly user experiences. Develop back-end functionality, applications, and APIs. Work with servers, databases, and website architecture. Maintain and enhance WordPress websites. Ensure websites function properly across browsers, devices, and platforms. Collaborate with designers and developers to bring projects from concept through completion. Balance technical requirements with usability and overall customer experience. Stay current with modern web development tools, technologies, and AI capabilities. Identify opportunities to improve existing applications and incorporate emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications: Mid-level experience in full stack or web development. Strong front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Hands-on WordPress development experience. Experience with API development and integration. Working knowledge of back-end development, servers, and databases. Experience building responsive websites and applications. Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively. Interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a digital agency or fast-paced development environment. Experience incorporating AI or other emerging technologies into web development. Work Arrangement

Remote: Open to candidates located in Pennsylvania.
