Respiratory Therapist (Contract Role) Job Details: Location: Concord, NH, 03301 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Nights | 6:45PM - 7:15 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Pay Rate: $1,800 - $1,944 Key Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy treatments, techniques, and procedures as prescribed by a physician. Monitor patient responses to therapy and make necessary adjustments. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function testing. Manage mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients. Educate patients and family members on respiratory care and disease management. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care. Document all therapy and assessments accurately in the EMR system (Cerner preferred). Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained. Adhere to infection control and safety procedures. Requirements: License: Active New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner License Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required Experience: Minimum 1 yr experience in an acute care setting OR experience is preferable and documents travel experience.
