Barista
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team at a bustling café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and work area
- prepare boba drinks
- Handle cash transactions and operate the register
- Assist in food preparation and service as needed
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a café or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus
- Sales skills to promote products and upsell when appropriate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Pay: $16.88 - $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
