Film Development Intern

Film Mode Entertainment, a dynamic boutique company specializing in worldwide sales and distribution, is seeking a Sales & Development Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in the business side of filmmaking, with a focus on the intersection of creative development and international sales.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):·      Script coverage and story analysis·      Screener reviews and development notes·      Box office research and market trend analysis·      Marketing and positioning feedback·      Support with international film market prep (e.g. AFM, TIFF, EFM, Cannes)This is an unpaid, educational internship ideal for candidates eager to understand how creative and production skills translate into the world of distribution, packaging, and global film sales. Interns will gain direct insight into evaluating commercial viability and preparing projects for market presentation.Requirements:·      Commitment of 2–3 days/week for a 3-month period·      Fully remote, with optional in-person meetings in Los Angeles·      Strong writing and communication skills·      Familiarity with script/story analysis·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace·      Positive, collaborative attitude!
