The therapist shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality therapy services for patients in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy.Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care.Maintains positive level of interaction with patients and co-workers.Performs other duties as assigned.Team Member CompetenciesEstablishing RelationshipsBuilds effective networks, working relationships, and alliances in order to collaborate effectively within department and organization. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs., carry and lift up to 50lbs.Threshold RequirementsThese threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basisAnnual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientationTB/PPD Surveillance ProgramMaintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
