We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice in the scenic area near Kirkland, Arizona. This is a great chance to work in an outpatient clinic setting with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, treating patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Key Details: Start Date: November 11, 2024 Job Duration: 26 weeks Schedule: Day shifts, 10-hour shifts Flexible schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM No call responsibilities Observed Holidays Off: New Year's Day Labor Day Independence Day Memorial Day Thanksgiving Christmas Work Environment: Daily Patient Census: 14-16 patients in an 8-hour shift or 18-22 patients in a 10-hour shift Support Staff: 4 MDs 2 PAs Patient Demographics: Average patient age: 63 All age groups seen, from pediatrics to geriatrics Experience Required: At least 5 years of Primary Care clinic experience Experience in jail or prison settings is not applicable Charting System: Cerner Qualifications: Licensure: Arizona state license required (Compact license accepted) DEA license required BLS certification required Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Vaccination Requirements: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) This position offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a flexible, no-call setting, with a dedicated team of professionals in a family practice clinic.
