Construction Estimator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. Responsibilities - Review and interpret construction plans and specifications - Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for construction projects - Analyze project requirements and provide accurate cost assessments - Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing - Prepare and submit bids and proposals for construction projects - Monitor project costs and assist in cost control efforts - Visit construction sites to gather information for estimates Qualifications - Strong understanding of construction management principles - Ability to build accurate estimates based on project requirements - Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors - Knowledge of contract terms and conditions related to construction projects - Experience in cost control methods within the construction industry - Familiarity with construction sites and project logistics Job Type: Full-time Ability to Commute: McAllen, TX 78501 (Required) Ability to Relocate: McAllen, TX 78501: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
