Youth Program Coordinator, Alpha - $100,000/year USD

CrossoverTulsa, OKMay 17th, 2026
$100,000 annual W2 salary with weekly pay; health, dental, and vision coverage starting day oneOn-site position at an Alpha K-8 campus in Denver, CO; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX (Central, South, or The Woodlands); Park City, UT (Salt Lake City area); or Toronto, Canada (relocation assistance available)This is not a teaching position. This is about motivation. The most meaningful support you can offer a student who reached 99% of their target is to refuse to accept it as complete. If that approach feels uncomfortable, this role is not for you. If it energizes you—because maintaining high standards demonstrates your belief in a student's capacity—then continue reading.Alpha students complete their academic work through AI-driven applications. No traditional lectures. No conventional textbooks. You will spend half your time facilitating one-hour life-skills workshops covering topics like public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. The remaining half involves working with students individually or in small groups, analyzing their progress via Coachbot analytics, and driving each one toward 100% completion of weekly app objectives. You will not follow rigid scripts—workshops provide a foundation, but high performers in this role customize content and create new sessions when needed.A successful quarter means every student in your cohort completes their weekly app goals, passes the Test2Pass assessment for every life-skills workshop, and 90%+ report they love working with you. Falling short on any of these three metrics means falling short on the role. During your first year, you will master the operational framework; once you demonstrate the ability to maintain standards, advancement opportunities open to Lead Guide, where you mentor new team members while continuing direct student work.If you prefer traditional classroom instruction, need fully developed curriculum delivered to you, or view warmth and rigorous expectations as incompatible, this position will not be a fit. If your background includes athletic coaching, camp counseling, tutoring where you refused to let students give up, or performance work that could captivate a room of young children, the final step before receiving an offer is a full day on campus coaching actual Alpha students. If that prospect excites you most, submit your application today. What You Will Be DoingFacilitating one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts covering public speaking, concentration, feedback, and other enduring skills; customizing the operational playbook and creating new sessions when you identify gapsConducting daily individual and small-group motivation sessions that drive every student to 100% completion of weekly app goals, leveraging Coachbot analytics, Alpha's incentive structures (campus currency, leaderboards), and your individual relationship with each student to overcome resistanceManaging the Test2Pass (Alpha's mastery-based evaluation) for each life skill, and continuing to coach students who do not pass until they achieve masteryAdjusting your coaching approach across a broad age spectrum, from kindergarteners requiring high energy and physical activity to eighth graders needing direct conversations and accountabilityServing as the adult who maintains standards and the adult students choose to confide in; warmth creates the foundation for challenge, and challenge demonstrates your confidence in their potentialWhat You Won’t Be DoingDelivering whiteboard lectures; academic content is delivered through applications, not direct instruction from youDeveloping curriculum from the ground up; you activate an existing playbook through energy and narrativePassively monitoring students at computer stations; motivation in this context is active, individualized, and persistentReducing a weekly target to help a student achieve it; when a student falls behind, the solution involves supporting the student, not adjusting the goalEvaluating homework assignments, conducting standardized test preparation, or handling parent communications; Campus Leads manage parent-facing responsibilities, and the other tasks do not exist in this modelYouth Program Coordinator Key ResponsibilitiesDrive every student in your K-8 cohort to complete their weekly learning objectives, demonstrate mastery of each life skill, and finish the year reporting they loved working with you.Basic RequirementsAvailable to work on-site at an Alpha campus in Denver, CO; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX (Central, South, or The Woodlands); Park City, UT; or Toronto, Canada (relocation assistance provided)Bachelor's degree in any disciplineMinimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 students (classroom instruction, coaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or youth program management)A concrete example you can articulate of motivating a K-8 student toward a challenging goal: the objective, your actions, and the resultComfort allowing AI to manage instructional delivery while you concentrate on motivation and life-skills coachingRegular use of generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (or in Canada for the Toronto location)Nice-to-have RequirementsBackground in youth sports coaching, debate, camp leadership, theater, or after-school programming where you held direct responsibility for motivating children toward defined objectivesDemonstrated history of high personal achievement (academic, athletic, or professional), indicating that holding others to rigorous standards reflects your authentic pattern rather than adopted behaviorNarrative ability and stage presence sufficient to engage a room of 12-year-olds for an hour without needing to raise your voiceProven ability to transform disengaged or resistant students into active, participating learnersAbout AlphaWant to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom?
