Miami Arts Charter School is seeking a Physical Education teacher to join our team!Starting salary- $55,000Miami Arts Charter School has been operating since 2009 in Miami's exciting Wynwood Arts District. Students are admitted through an application and audition process in the performing and fine arts. We do not have a random lottery selection process.As a Florida Public Charter School, all courses taught align with the Florida State Standards. Qualified candidates will receive a quick reply.Responsibilities:Manage and educate students in a classroom settingDevelop and implement engaging lesson plansAdhere to the established teaching curriculumMaintain positive relationships with students and parentsDocument and share student grades and evaluationsMaintain the health and safety of all studentsQualifications:Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields is preferred but not requiredStrong classroom management skillsAbility to build rapport with studentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesState of Florida Teaching Certificate (Professional or Temporary) or Statement of Eligibility.
