This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.Schedule: full-time opportunity, alternating weekends requiredSalary: $18/hourHere are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.Clean and wash vehicle.May perform housekeeping functions as directed.Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.Heavily support the Activities Department when not driving for the community during the scheduled shift.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver requiredClear driving recordIf you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!EEO Employer
