The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts that meet quality and production standards. This role interprets blueprints, selects appropriate tooling, and ensures accurate machine setups while monitoring part quality throughout the manufacturing process. The CNC Machinist works collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimize efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetup and run mills and lathesLoad materials/parts and make necessary offsets or adjustments to maintain part quality Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings with a high level of accuracy Perform 1st piece inspections on setups and parts as trainedOptimizes production rates on work centers while maintaining established quality levelsEnsure proper documentation is completed accurately, including set-up sheets, part counts and production records Maintain a clean and organized work areaPerform all other duties as assigned Qualifications and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work instructionsFamiliarity with CNC machining processesAbility to read, interpret and adjust G code programmingAbility to read and use Calipers, Micrometers, Height Stands, Indicators, and other measuring equipmentMechanical aptitude and attention to detailGood attendance and reliable work historyWillingness to learn new machines and processesPrevious experience in manufacturing or production environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for the duration of the shift Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environmentBenefits401(k) with company matchFREE Dental insuranceFREE Life insuranceAffordable Health InsuranceVision insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible SchedulesVacation starting day 1Paid Holidays (Veterans also get Veterans Day off with pay)Referral Program
