Quality Engineer
📍 Tualatin, Oregon (Onsite)📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM⏳ Contract Duration: Through end of year About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to support our incoming inspection processes. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet established quality standards, contributing directly to the reliability and integrity of our products.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough inspections of incoming materials and components to verify compliance with specifications and quality standardsMaintain accurate and organized documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actionsCollaborate with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive improvementsDevelop and implement procedures and guidelines for incoming inspection and quality assuranceAnalyze inspection data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-makingTrain and guide team members on inspection techniques, quality standards, and best practicesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiencySupport internal and external audits related to quality control and incoming inspection processesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment with incoming inspection focusStrong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards)Hands-on experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationProficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systemsPreferred QualificationsCertified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certificationExperience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with quality standards for electrical and/or mechanical components
