Plus TipsTo serve guests food and beverages following the Brands core Steps of Service. Works in assigned restaurant location as determined by management. Responsibilities:Ensures that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining company standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer serviceGreets guests warmly with a smile, making eye contact; checks for table setting completenessAnswers all guest questions or finds appropriate answers for guestsCommunicates all daily food and drink specials to guests; Takes accurate food and beverage ordersDemonstrates knowledge of all menu offerings, food, and drink pairings, and gives detailed descriptions of each itemAbility to accurately enter all orders into the point-of-sale systemEnsures guest satisfactionOffers up-selling opportunities to all guestsVerifies ages of guests ordering alcoholic beverages; responsibly serves alcoholPrepares hot and cold drinks and mixed non-alcoholic drinks as neededDemonstrates appropriate wine service techniques when presenting tableside wine serviceAnticipates your guests needs, including refilling drinks and replenishing flatwareAssists other servers as needed; is aware of and alerts other crewmembers of customers’ needsRuns food as needed on an ongoing basisDetermines when guests have completed their meals and removes dirty dishes, flatware, and napkinsPrepares and presents itemized bill to guests; receives and processes payment by cash, credit card, or airline voucherMaintains a spotless working environment, including tabletops, bases, chairs, banquettes, TV's, glass partitions, server stations, beverage stations, table set-ups, glassware, flatware, etcAssists kitchen staff as neededParticipates in daily side-work tasks, including but not limited to stocking glasses, linens, flatware, and condimentsClean and preset tables for next customersMaintains knowledge of airport, terminal, and restaurants; offers information, recommendations, MCA and Brand history, etcMaintains a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance and adheres to all uniform and appearance guidelinesSweeps and mops as neededPerforms other duties and side-work as assignedQualificationsDemonstrated pleasant attitude and energy to ensure great customer serviceProfessional demeanor, appearance, and communication skills in accordance with restaurant guidelinesBasic serving skills abilityMust have working knowledge of the restaurant floor planDemonstrated ability to learn food and beverage knowledge and participate in training as requiredAbility to successfully pass all service, menu, and alcoholic drink testing for assigned concept at standards assigned by management within 2 weeks of completion of trainingAbility to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to accurately count money and make changeAbility to communicate clearly with customers and crewmembers regarding food and beverage orders and customer questions and concernsAbility to read menu offerings, product labels, register screen, pricing, receipts, safety procedures, and operating directions Ability to maintain a safe and clean restaurant for customersAbility to walk and stand for long durationsAbility to do moderate to heavy lifting (25 lbs. or less)Knowledge and adherence to MCA policies and proceduresKnowledge and adherence to all airport rules and regulationsCommitment to service of customers, staff, co-workers, and managementHigh integrity and honesty, Work Ethic, passion, and commitmentAbility to work scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidaysFollow through and dependabilityKnowledge and commitment to safety and food sanitationnPowered by JazzHRbiZcwIwf1W
