Senior RF Engineer – Onsite | Denver, CO - Space Tech 🛰️An innovative space technology company developing advanced robotics and mobility systems for lunar and planetary exploration is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This role will support the design, integration, and testing of RF systems for space-based platforms, including satellites and planetary rovers, within a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, analyse, and integrate RF subsystems for space and communications platformsPerform electromagnetic simulations and RF trade studies to support system design decisionsDevelop and execute RF and antenna test plans, including VSWR, gain, and radiation pattern analysisBuild, integrate, and test RF hardware and communications payloadsCreate and analyse link budgets for space-to-Earth communications systemsConduct antenna co-site and interference analysisUse industry-standard RF modelling and simulation tools to validate system performanceProduce detailed technical documentation, reports, and test resultsCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external vendors throughout development cyclesKey RequirementsStrong background in RF systems design, analysis, and testingBackground in satellite, space, or planetary rover RF systemsHands-on experience building and testing RF hardware and RF test racksExperience with RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators, and power metersAbility to develop and execute RF validation and verification plans against technical requirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 5 years of RF engineering experienceExcellent technical communication and documentation skillsHighly organised, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in fast-paced environmentsEligibility to work on U.S. regulated aerospace programmesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering aerospace organisation focused on enabling the future of lunar and planetary exploration.
