DevOps Engineering

Overview In this role you will design and evolve the production infrastructure to support growing capacity, performance, and reliability. You will own deployment infrastructure and collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to deliver high-performance, reliable delivery of products. You will identify risks to uptime and design mitigations while aiding datacenter planning and automation. This opportunity emphasizes scalable systems, cross-team collaboration, and on-call support to improve operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment that shapes how we deploy and operate large-scale software solutions. ResponsibilitiesPlan and design system architectures for scalable production infrastructureOwn and enhance the deployment infrastructure for all systemsCollaborate with engineering, QA and product managers to deploy high-performance solutionsIdentify and implement performance tuningIdentify uptime/reliability risk areas and design mitigationsAssist Operations Team with capacity planning, scalability and new datacenter designDesign and improve automation for server provisioning, configuration and deploymentAssist with platform issue responses, retrospectives and future enhancements (on-call support) Key requirements5+ years of proven systems administration and operations successBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or similar technical degree) or relevant experienceSolid experience with Linux and Windows systemsExperience with scripting languages and automation tools (Python, Powershell, Bash)Experience with configuration management and deployment tools (TeamCity, Puppet, Consul, Chef, RPMs)Knowledge of system monitoring and alerting tools and processesProven history of managing large-scale, high-performance software installationsCapability planning experience across multiple physical datacenterscross-functional collaborationproblem-solvingon-call readinessLinux and Windows system administrationScripting: Python, Powershell, BashConfiguration management and deployment tools: TeamCity, Puppet, Consul, Chef, RPMs
