Job Description EHS Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 100k/year - Commerce, CAOur client, a growing plastics manufacturing organization, is seeking an EHS Manager to lead safety, compliance, and environmental programs at their production facility in Commerce, CA. This is a hands-on role supporting a manufacturing environment with regulated processes, industrial hygiene considerations, and cleanroom operations.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and audit Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs in a manufacturing environmentEnsure compliance with applicable regulations including OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental standardsCreate, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to safety and complianceLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementationAdminister and monitor industrial hygiene programs (air sampling, exposure monitoring, PPE requirements)Maintain and manage required documentation including OSHA logs, safety records, and audit reportsConduct new hire safety orientation and ongoing employee training programsSupport and promote safe work practices within a Class 8 cleanroom environmentPartner with operations and leadership to improve safety performance and reduce riskProvide technical EHS guidance across departments within the facilityQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field3+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with OSHA or Cal/OSHA regulations and compliance programsExperience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actionsExperience developing and maintaining safety programs, SOPs, and training initiativesExperience with industrial hygiene monitoring and PPE programsCompensation:Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year rangeAnnual BonusMedical, dental, vision insurance401kPaid time off/paid holidays#INDALL
