Title: Development CoordinatorDepartment: DevelopmentReports To: Director of DevelopmentStatus: Full-Time, Non-ExemptPay Scale: $27.89 - $29.81 per hourSchedule: Eligible for Hybrid Schedule after completing training periodSummaryThe Development Coordinator serves as a key member of the Development team, providing operational and administrative support for fundraising, donor stewardship, prospect research, and advancement services. Working closely with the Director of Development and collaborating across departments, this position helps identify and engage prospective donors, maintain accurate donor records, coordinate stewardship activities, and support fundraising initiatives that advance the institution's mission.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, proactive, and committed to providing exceptional service to donors, alumni, volunteers, and community partners.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prospect Research and Donor StewardshipSupport the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors and prospectsResearch and qualify prospective donors, corporate partners, foundations, alumni, and community supportersPrepare donor profiles, briefing materials, and prospect research reportsMaintain prospect pipelines and track donor engagement activitiesCoordinate donor acknowledgments, stewardship communications, and follow-up activities to ensure meaningful donor engagementGift Administration and Advancement ServicesEnsure the accurate processing, tracking, and reporting of charitable contributionsProcess gifts, pledges, memberships, matching gifts, and in-kind contributionsMaintain donor and gift records within Jenzabar and related systemsGenerate fundraising, donor, and pipeline reportsCollaborate closely with the Finance Department to reconcile gifts, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and support financial reportingMaintain data integrity through ongoing record maintenance and database managementDevelopment Operations and EngagementProvide the infrastructure and support that drives successful fundraising effortsMaintain donor contact reports, fundraising records, and stewardship tracking systemsSupport annual giving, membership, campaign, and donor engagement initiativesAssist with development-related website updates, online giving pages, and donor recognition listingsProvide administrative and logistical support for fundraising events, donor cultivation activities, volunteer engagement efforts, and special projectsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum three years of experience in fundraising, advancement services, donor relations, nonprofit administration, or a related fieldExperience with gift processing and constituent database managementStrong organizational, analytical, and project management skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelPreferredExperience with Jenzabar One or a comparable CRM/database systemExperience in higher education, arts, architecture, or nonprofit organizationsKnowledge of fundraising operations, donor stewardship, and prospect research best practicesWe offer a great benefits package with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.SCI-Arc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
