Job title: Sr Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Irving Place, New YorkType: Contract – OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesCloud Security Engineering & OperationsSupport and maintain security across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI)Review cloud architectures and configurations to ensure alignment with security best practicesCollaborate with engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate security risksCloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)Operate and manage CSPM tools to identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilitiesMonitor cloud environments for security gaps, compliance issues, and exposure risksDrive remediation efforts in partnership with infrastructure and application teamsApplication & Platform SecuritySupport security for cloud-hosted applications, platforms, and servicesAssist in securing containerized environments and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)Ensure secure implementation of cloud-native architectures and servicesCloud Network & Access SecuritySupport implementation of secure access solutions, including SASE and Zero Trust principlesAssist with securing cloud networking, identity, and access management controlsIncident Response & MonitoringInvestigate and respond to cloud security alerts and incidentsCollaborate with security operations teams to contain, remediate, and prevent threatsSupport integration with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk) for monitoring and visibilityGovernance, Automation & Continuous ImprovementContribute to the development and enforcement of cloud security standards, policies, and proceduresHelp automate security processes to improve efficiency, detection, and responseSupport security assessments for emerging technologies, including AI-driven systemsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud security or cloud platformsHands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider:Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCIExperience with cloud security tools, including CSPM solutionsStrong understanding of:Cloud identity and access management (IAM)Cloud networking and security controlsGeneral cybersecurity best practicesExperience supporting application, platform, or container security in cloud environmentsExposure to security incident response and investigation processesStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
