Operator - Flex

OperatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a variety of fabrication and CNC machining equipment to produce custom parts according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a 1st / 2nd shift position in Euless, TX (76040) with the opportunity for hire.Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operate multiple types of fabrication equipmentOperate tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard chartsPlace and secure work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenchesLoad, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using CNC machining centers to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructionsFollow written instructions from internal and external customers and interpret basic to intermediate blueprint specificationsPerform work independently with minimal defectsBasic recognition of tooling and procedures within established tolerancesComplete work order paperworkChecks parts for conformance to customer specificationsMaintain count and perform packaging duties as requiredParticipate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the departmentPerform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubricationMaintain a clean and organized work areaProvide guidance, feedback and positive behaviorDetermine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for useMake suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiencyAssist with training other team membersFollow safety rules and quality standardsOperator Requirements:High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is requiredPrior experience in a manufacturing industry preferredAbility to lift up to 40lbsAbout us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
