Responsible for providing quality customer service, practicing safe food handling procedures, assist with inventory, stocking, product rotation and maintenance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipesRoll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts tarts, cookies, and related bakery productsCut, peel and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, and preparing icingTrain assistants and maintain cleanliness of the bakeryMaintain records of customer ordersProvide quality customer service and take cake ordersEnsure cleaning supplies are stored separatelyEnsure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintainedRotation of merchandise in accordance with labels and maintain department plan-o-grams and schematicsSkills and QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in a bakery department. Bilingual in English and SpanishPhysical Demands and Work ConditionsThe physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
