Low Voltage Alarm Technician (Level 2) Intermediate

Our company is seeking an intermediate Alarm Technician to inspect, install, service, repair, maintain and monitor security and life safety systems in accordance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have three (3) or more years of experience with a variety of Fire and Intrusion systems, as well as knowledge of the latest tools and equipment. We are seeking individuals who have a strong ability to evaluate, diagnose and perform repairs as necessary. Candidate must be able to work individually and as a team to diagnose and resolve technical and/ or mechanical issues. Responsibilities: Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required Must have a reliable way to get to and from work each day If driving personal vehicle, must have “current” state required insurance coverage Ability to acknowledge and comply with OSHA safety standards is required Complete electrical and mechanical service calls on existing systems Perform on-site inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair and installation of security, fire and life safety systems as well as associated devices Install hardwired and/ or wireless intrusion, surveillance and access control equipment Maintain current knowledge of state and federal fire codes Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and regulations Knowledge of NFPA and ICC standards (including 70, 72, IFC and IBC) is a plus Networking knowledge is a plus A TN Alarm Registered Employee's License will be required for this position. We will assist candidate in obtaining the license. Candidate will be required to pass a Background Check for this license.
