Job Overview:
We are seeking for an organized and efficient in-house cook/barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in basic food/drink preparation, packaging, and kitchen operations. You will be responsible for assisting the Chef with food production, including but not limited to food prep/cooking, portioning prepared food for our retail stores. Brewing teas, coffee, taking orders, preparing smoothies/drink and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and bar/dining areas will also be apart of the job responsibilities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring all food items are fresh, properly prepared, and packaged for customer orders per local health regulation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food and drink items according to recipes and company standards.
Package prepared food into individual bags for customer orders and/or retail stores.
Ensure all food prep stations are kept clean and organized.
Assist in managing inventory by tracking supplies and ingredients, and communicate when restocking is needed.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including proper labeling and storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and packaging goals.
Follow instructions from the kitchen manager or head chef to meet production demands.
Help with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanup when needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work.
Ability to follow recipes and portioning guidelines accurately.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with strong communication skills.
Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus, but not required.
Comfortable standing for long periods and handling kitchen equipment.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
