We are seeking a Precision Assembler to join our Operations team in Rochester, NY. Grow with us as we solve complex challenges, inspire confidence, and drive excellence in manufacturing.Key Responsibilities:Perform functional and optical testing of interferometers using precision metrology tools.Follow detailed manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.Maintain cleanroom protocols and ensure contamination control during all assembly processes.Collaborate with engineering to support process development, validation, and continuous improvement.Document work performed with extreme attention to detail.Maintain traceability of components and assemblies.Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.Maintain required training certifications and adhere to safety and quality.Required Skills and Competencies:High School Diploma or GED3-5 years of hands-on production manufacturing/operationsSolid mathematical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret technical documentation, including Bill of Material (BOM), schematics and optical layoutsExcellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to handle delicate optical componentsCollaborative team player with a focus on problem-solvingAbility to work independently and to be flexible/adaptable with shifting prioritiesOrganized, conscientious and focusedBasic computer skills for data entry, documentation, and communicationCapable to lift up to 20 lbs. and standing for extended periods of timeDriven to achieve with a commitment to quality with a safety-first mindsetPreferred Skills and Experience:Experience in manufacturing precision optical or laser-based instrumentsExperience working in a Clean Room environment (ISO Class 7 or better preferred)Knowledge of interferometry principles, optical testing, and troubleshootingAre you ready to expand the boundaries of possibility, simplify the complex, and embody the values that define our success?
