This role focuses on developing core software applications while collaborating with cross‑functional partners throughout the software development lifecycle.About The TeamYou will join a collaborative engineering team focused on delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions that support FIS products and services.What You Will Be DoingDesigning, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and applicationsWorking with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modificationsParticipating in software design discussions to determine technical requirementsDeveloping and maintaining software using current programming languages and technologiesWriting and maintaining technical documentation and proceduresCollaborating with internal teams including Product, Engineering, Client Training, Client Relationship, and SalesSupporting applications through testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement effortsWhat You Will NeedExperience with end‑to‑end systems development life cycles and development standardsKnowledge of software engineering principles and best practicesUnderstanding of financial services industry practices, regulations, and operationsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsProficiency with design and requirements definition disciplinesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceYears of experience~ Typically 7+ yearsAdded Bonus If You HaveExperience with modern development frameworks or cloud technologiesFamiliarity with distributed systems, APIs, or microservicesExposure to Agile or DevOps methodologiesFIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $122,820.00 - $208,790.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
