Information Technology Intern

POSITION SUMMARYThe IT Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the IT department, assisting with hardware, software, and network-related tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in information technology, exposure to enterprise systems, and the opportunity to develop technical, problem-solving, and customer service skills in a professional environment. The IT Intern ensures ProMed's brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPosition duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Provide first-level technical support for users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issuesAssist with setup, configuration, and deployment of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheralsHelp monitor IT systems and escalate issues as neededAssist with inventory management of IT assets and equipmentFollow IT policies, security standards, and best practicesParticipate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives as assignedQUALIFICATION, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
