Currently our client, a Japanese Trading Company, is looking for a Branch Manager.【Location】Bloomfield, CT【Position】Branch Manager【Compensation】$100,000- $115,000【Hiring Syle】Direct hiring, Full-timeJob Description1. Achieve targeted revenue, profit and growth targets established by the company on an annual and quarterly basis.2. Manage day-to-day operation of the branch.3. Prospecting for new customers utilizing a wide variety of methods and approach.4. Cold calling to generate customer meetings as needed.5. Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.6. Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.7. Maintains and expands customer base by counseling distributors.8. Maintains good relationships with venders.9. Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or service changes; surveying customer needs and trends; tracking competitors.10. Implements trade promotions by exhibiting at tradeshows and evaluating trade spending.11. Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with distributors and key decision makers.12. Regularly communicate with Management Team to review weekly sales activities, and status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals, and status on deadlines.13. Active networking in industry organizations and circles.14. Maintain current awareness of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.15. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.16. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.17. Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.18. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.19. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Management Team.Qualifications●Legally eligible to work in the United States.●Minimum 5 years outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.●Minimum 2 years of experience in management.●Good driving record. Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.●Bachelor's Degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.●Must present and communicate in a professional manner.●Excellent verbal and written communication skills.●Must be organized with good time management skills.●Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.●Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.●Developing and executing district sales strategies.●Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.●Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.●Meeting Sales Goals individually and that of the team.●Negotiation with customers and vendors regarding price, specifications, delivery and payment terms.●Sales planning skills.●Excellent decision making skills.
