Apprentice Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will be involved in various aspects of carpentry, construction, and restoration projects, providing you with a solid foundation for your career in this industry. Ideal candidates are motivated and eager to learn. Responsibilities Assist skilled carpenters in performing tasks related to trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinetry installation. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in restoration activities including water damage restoration and mold remediation. Support the team with heavy lifting and material handling on construction sites. Gain experience in fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and caulking. Collaborate with team members on construction painting and drywall installation tasks. Develop skills in metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly work, and plumbing tasks as needed. Experience We are looking for 1-2 years experience for this apprentice role, but will consider candidates with the appropriate schooling. Candidates with the following skills will be highly regarded: Construction site experience Knowledge of woodworking techniques and fabrication processes Familiarity with rebar installation and masonry work Previous maintenance person or restoration industry experience is a plus Understanding of electrical systems and basic remodeling practices This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the carpentry field while working alongside seasoned professionals who are eager to share their knowledge and expertise.
