Role: Android Mobile Application DeveloperLocation: Fully RemoteDuration: Full Time Role OverviewWe are seeking a Mid-Level Android Application Developer who is an expert in Android and can also contribute to iOS development. This role focuses primarily on the Android ecosystem, with the expectation of supporting iOS efforts as needed.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement mobile applications for the Android platform.Develop and maintain Android app features using native (Kotlin/Java) and/or cross-platform frameworks.Build and optimize applications using Kotlin, Java, and Flutter/React Native where applicable.Work with solution architects to define and maintain app architecture and design patterns.Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption for scalability.Perform code reviews, testing, and implement continuous integration/deployment pipelines.Provide support for iOS development tasks as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5–7 years of experience in mobile application development, with strong expertise in Android.Proficiency in Kotlin/Java with experience in mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture).Hands-on experience with the Android platform; working familiarity with iOS/Swift is required.Experience with cloud services integration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.Desired SkillsExperience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin).Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise).Experience with app analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (Firebase, Crashlytics, AppCenter).Working knowledge of Swift or iOS development.
