Broker (Wholesale Insurance)As an Underwriter/Broker, you'll be the driving force behind revenue growthconnecting Retail Agents with national markets and delivering exceptional underwriting solutions through strong carrier relationships.What You'll Do:Grow Your Book: Prospect and develop new business through networking and relationship-building with Retail Agents.Be the Expert: Develop deep knowledge of high-risk wholesale insurance solutions across product lines, industries, and risk types.Deliver Results: Analyze submissions, negotiate competitive pricing, and secure coverage for complex risks.Lead & Influence: Educate partners on RPS's full range of solutions and, when assigned, mentor and guide support teams.Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and carrier guidelines to ensure profitable growth.Travel as needed: Engage with clients as needed.What We're Looking For:Proven business development and relationship management skills. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication. A proactive, goal-driven mindset with urgency to achieve production targets. Ability to leverage data and tools to craft comprehensive insurance solutions.About You:Requirements:Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience.Home state P&C license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Sales experience in wholesale insurance or related field preferred.Compensation and benefits:We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
