This role ensures efficient workflow execution, accurate inventory movement, and safe, high-performing operations while delivering on quality, service, and productivity targets.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking, staging, and material movementCoordinate and prioritize work assignments to meet production and customer delivery requirementsEnsure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipmentsMonitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities to meet changing business needsLead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to drive performance and engagementManage employee schedules, attendance, and shift coverage to ensure operational continuityProvide training and onboarding for new employees and support cross-training initiativesEnsure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMaintain compliance with inventory control processes and quality standardsPartner with materials and planning teams to ensure alignment on material flow and inventory needsIdentify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce wasteServe as primary point of contact between warehouse operations and other departmentsCommunicate daily priorities, issues, and performance updates to leadershipCollaborate with production, scheduling, and logistics teams to meet business objectivesPerform other duties as assigned to support business needsQualificationsAssociate degree in Business Management or a related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment2 to 3 years of supervisory or leadership experienceBasic knowledge of economy of motion techniquesDemonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead employees in high-stress environmentsPrior experience supervising or managing employees in a production or warehouse environmentExperience in roles such as Operations Scheduler, Merchandise Coordinator, or Loss Prevention SupervisorEducationAssociate Degree in Business ManagementPhysical RequirementsWe OfferCompetitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits plans which include medical and dental insurance, company-sponsored life insurance, retirement security savings plan, short- and long-term disability programs and tuition assistance.ADA Statement & EEO StatementIn developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
