About the Role
Join a dynamic team at a leading car dealership as a Business Development Center (BDC) Representative! You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, handling high-volume inbound and outbound communications to drive sales and service appointments. This fast-paced role is perfect for motivated, outgoing individuals who excel in customer service, thrive under performance targets, and enjoy turning leads into showroom visits.
We offer comprehensive training—no prior dealership experience required for entry-level candidates. Previous call center, customer service, or sales background is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and follow up on internet leads, phone inquiries, emails, chat/text messages, and marketing campaign responses in a timely and professional manner.
Qualify leads, overcome objections, and schedule confirmed sales or service appointments (showroom visits, virtual consultations, or service bays).
Deliver exceptional customer service as the initial dealership contact, ensuring a positive experience and building rapport.
Maintain accurate customer records and interactions in the dealership's CRM system.
Conduct outbound follow-up calls to nurture leads, recent buyers, and service customers to generate additional appointments and repeat business.
Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and high show rates.
Meet or exceed daily/weekly performance goals for appointments set, shown, and conversion rates.
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, enthusiastic phone presence and ability to use positive language.
Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented with a focus on results and handling rejection effectively.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM software, email, Microsoft Office, and multitasking in a high-volume environment.
Previous experience in call centers, customer service, sales, or dealership settings preferred but not required—paid training provided.
High school diploma or equivalent; automotive knowledge a plus but trainable.
