HR/Organizational Development Specialist (Part Time) (Dallas)
HumCap is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR / Organizational Development Consultant to join our growing consulting practice. This is a client-facing consultant role focused on helping organizations solve people problems, strengthen culture, improve leadership effectiveness, and build scalable HR and organizational strategies. HumCap delivers customized HR and recruiting solutions to organizations ranging from emerging companies to established enterprises across multiple industries.The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic advisor, business partner, coach, and hands-on executor. We are looking for someone who can step into a client environment, quickly build trust, assess organizational needs, and drive meaningful impact.ODCP certification or similar organizational development credentials are strongly preferred.What You'll DoPartner with client leadership teams to assess organizational effectiveness, culture, structure, and talent strategiesLead and support organizational development initiatives including change management, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, and team effectivenessFacilitate workshops, leadership sessions, strategic planning meetings, and team development programsDesign and implement performance management, competency modeling, career pathing, and talent development programsProvide strategic HR consulting support on employee relations, retention strategies, workforce planning, and organizational designConduct organizational assessments, employee surveys, interviews, and focus groups to identify improvement opportunitiesHelp clients navigate growth, transformation, mergers, restructuring, and change initiativesCollaborate with HumCap recruiting and HR consulting teams to deliver integrated human capital solutionsDevelop client deliverables including presentations, recommendations, policies, training materials, and strategic action plansServe as a trusted advisor and extension of the client's leadership and HR teamWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, Business, or related fieldODCP certification strongly preferred5+ years of experience in Organizational Development, HR Consulting, Talent Management, Leadership Development, or related HR rolesStrong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to business objectivesExperience facilitating leadership workshops and organizational change initiativesExceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skillsComfortable working in fast-paced and evolving client environmentsAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionStrong project management and consulting skillsExperience working with multiple clients and industries is a plusSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or additional OD certifications are a plusWhat Success Looks LikeClients view you as a trusted advisor and business partnerOrganizational and leadership challenges are identified proactively and solved effectivelyClient engagement scores, retention, leadership capability, and team performance improveYou help organizations scale, grow, and strengthen their people strategiesYou embody HumCap's mission of delivering Human Capital ExcellenceWhy HumCapAt HumCap, we are passionate about serving people, customers, and the community with excellence.
