The Manager assists the Director with processes and outcomes of clinical care teams and programs designed to address patients and families' clinical psychosocial and financial needs.Scope of responsibilities includes training, supervision, and evaluation of team members and participation in goal setting, program planning workflow process monitoring regulatory compliance, staff productivity assessment of good customer service quality of work, outcome evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.The Manager represents Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital to internal and external customers, including patients and family physicians, ancillary medical personnel, administration, health plans, and third-party payors.QualificationsLicensure and Certification:Current California RN LicenseCurrent BLS Provider CareNational certification from ANCC, ACMA or Case Management Association of America preferredEducationBachelor’s degree in Nursing requiredMaster’s degree preferredExperienceExperience leading innovative case management programsExperience in utilization management and discharge planning requiredLeadership experience in acute case management requiredExperience with clinical assessment for clients with complex medical, emotional and social needsExperience planning, leading and organizing the resources of a team preferredStrong problem resolution abilities and customer relation skillsAbout The HospitalBe a part of the team at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, the healthcare leader in the Santa Clarita Valley.
