Service/Screen Window Technician

Sales Associate/Service Technician Service Technician at Ace Hardware – Peoria, IL. We need a highly skilled Service Technician to help us achieve that! Key Responsibilities Perform screen and window repairs, including rescreening and glass replacement. Handle sharpening services for knives, blades, and garden tools. Assist with basic power equipment maintenance, particularly on STIHL products. Deliver excellent customer service by guiding customers through repair options. Maintain a clean and organized service area. Manage incoming service requests and maintain accurate repair records. Stay updated on product knowledge and repair techniques. Assist customers on the sales floor. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in repair/maintenance roles. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment. Experience with STIHL or small engine repair is a plus (training available). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
