Talent Acquisition Specialist

POSITION TITLE: Talent Acquisition SpecialistREPORTS TO: Human Resources DirectorPosition Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team and play a key role in attracting, evaluating, and securing top talent for our organization. In this role, you will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle; from partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and sourcing qualified candidates, to coordinating interviews, conducting applicant screenings, and leading offer negotiations. You will maintain accurate candidate records, provide regular updates to key stakeholders, and contribute to workforce planning through monthly reporting and attendance at job fairs. Beyond recruitment, this role is intentionally designed as a launchpad into broader HR as you will gain hands-on exposure to HR operations, employee relations, and people strategy, with a clear path for growth into a generalist or HR business partner capacity for the right candidate. If you are a recruiting professional with an eye toward building a well-rounded HR career, we want to hear from you.Essential Functions Of The JobThe Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for delivering results that include the following:Publishes and manages job openings across multiple job boards and recruitment platformsSources and engages prospective candidates through job fairs and proactive outreachReviews resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position requirementsConducts interviews and assesses applicant qualifications, skills, work history, and compensation needsLeads the full interview process from initial screening through final offer negotiationAdministers or arranges candidate assessments as neededMaintains accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking systemCollaborates with hiring managers to define job requirements and provides regular status updatesOrders background and reference checks in accordance with company policyCreates monthly recruitment reports to identify trends and forecast future staffing needsAdditional duties as assignedPosition Qualification RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus, but not required2–3 years of recruiting or related HR experience preferredStrong professional presence and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) a plusWe currently use AAIMTrack and the AAIM SuitePhysical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.Primarily sedentary role performed in an office environmentRegularly required to sit for extended periods and operate standard office equipment including a computer, keyboard, and telephoneAbility to read and view a computer screen for extended periods of timeStandard Monday–Friday schedule during normal business hoursEnvironmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
