Job Title: Acquisitions & Investment AnalystReports To: Chief Executive OfficerLocation: Charlotte, NC (In Office)FLSA Status: ExemptPosition OverviewQC Capital is seeking an Acquisitions & Investment Analyst to support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across its portfolio companies, with a primary focus on retail, car wash, and oil change (quick lube) platforms. This role is responsible for advanced financial analysis, underwriting, and due diligence, ensuring disciplined investment decisions aligned with fund strategy and return objectives.This position functions as a key analytical partner to leadership, delivering data-driven insights and supporting efficient capital deployment across multiple service-based verticals.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed financial analysis and underwriting of acquisition opportunities across retail, car wash, and oil change platforms.Build and maintain complex financial models, including cash flow projections, IRR analysis, and scenario/sensitivity modeling.Evaluate potential investments for strategic alignment, operational scalability, and risk-adjusted return profile.Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking across automotive services and retail sectors.Support deal execution, including financial diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction structuring.Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and analytical materials for executive leadership and stakeholders.Coordinate and support due diligence efforts across financial, operational, legal, and market workstreams.Track and manage acquisition pipeline activity, including sourcing metrics and deal progression.Analyze portfolio performance and provide insights on capital allocation, margin optimization, and growth opportunities.Partner with portfolio company leadership to refine acquisition strategies and integration assumptions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).5–8+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or multi-unit service-based acquisitions.Experience or exposure to automotive services (car wash, oil change/quick lube) or retail roll-up strategies is strongly preferred.Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.Strong understanding of key investment metrics, including IRR, ROI, and cash-on-cash returns.Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.Effective communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data for senior stakeholders.High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
