Systems Analyst
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Analyst II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. If you enjoy working on a highly collaborative and dynamic team and want to make a difference for the warfighter, then we would love to have you on our team!Responsibilities Include But Not Limited ToFormulates/defines system scope and objectives for assigned projectsDevises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired resultsPrepares detailed specifications from which programs will be writtenResponsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentationHas full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programmingHas good understanding of the business or function for which applications is designedRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasksMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of the Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in the field or in a related areaExperience with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and proceduresProficient with Microsoft officeCloud based systems experienceExperience working in a Linux EnvironmentPreferred QualificationsMasters DegreeExperience with Six Sigma and Root Cause analysis skillsSkill in organizing and making presentations, orally and in writingUnderstanding of virtualization TechnologiesClearance RequirementsMust have a current and active TS/SCIPhysical RequirementsThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
