You will act as the bridge between product development and the end consumer, ensuring that our site is easy to navigate, our products are easy to find, and our portfolio is constantly optimized for maximum revenue.Compensation StructureThis is a full time, salaried (exempt, at-will) position. Base salary of $65,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications. Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Analysis & Inventory StrategyPerformance Audits: Conduct regular deep-dive analyses of the product portfolio to identify top-sellers, slow-movers, and "hidden gems."Use data to recommend which products require aggressive promotion to clear stock and which underperforming products should be retired from the catalog.Provide the marketing team with insights on product trends to help shape promotional calendars.Behavioral Data & UX OptimizationCustomer Journey Analysis: Monitor and analyze user behavior to identify friction points in the buying process. Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement site improvements that increase conversion rates and reduce abandonment.Discovery Optimization: Continuously audit the site’s navigation, search results, and filtering logic to ensure customers can find technical products and their required accessories quickly and intuitively.User Experience (UX) Auditing: Perform regular "site walks" and review session data to ensure product layouts, technical spec tables, and imagery are effectively communicating value and driving "Add to Cart" actionsProduct Launch & Lifecycle ManagementPlacement Strategy: Make final decisions on where new products live within the site hierarchy to ensure maximum discoverability by our target audience.Launch Site Readiness: Lead all website changes associated with new product launches, including the creation or updating of category pages, navigation menus, and promotional banners.The "Maximize" Phase: Take full ownership of the product lifecycle post-launch. Monitor performance in real-time and coordinate with marketing channels (Email, Social, Paid) to sustain and grow product momentum.Performance Monitoring: Track post-launch KPIs (Conversion Rate, Click-Through Rate, and Return Rate) to ensure new products meet growth targets.RequirementsExperience: 3+ years in E-commerce Merchandising, Digital Marketing, or Retail Analytics.Platform Knowledge: Experience with e-commerce platform Shopify Analytical MindsetLighting Industry Knowledge: (Preferred) A basic understanding of LED lighting specifications is a plus, but not required—a willingness to learn the technical side is essential.Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to work across departments, specifically with Product Managers and Creative teams.Work Schedule and LocationThis position will primarily work in office, with the opportunity to work 1 day per week remotely.
