More openings to come as we continue to grow the team!Please read below for a brilliant career opportunity.Role: Senior Technical Director (Procurement Systems SAP Ariba/GEP)Title: Director/Senior DirectorLocation: Remote – FulltimeRequired Experience: 15+ yearsSummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Procurement Systems Senior Technical Director to serve as the engagement lead at one of our premier banking clients, driving the end-to-end transition from SAP Ariba to GEP SMART across their global procurement operations. This is a client-facing leadership role that demands equal parts technical depth and executive presence — you will own the technical discovery, solution design, and implementation planning while serving as the primary point of contact for senior Managing Directors and C-suite stakeholders at a major financial institution. You will partner closely with client teams across IT, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to map existing workflows, identify gaps, and design scalable solutions that maintain business continuity while unlocking new capabilities. Beyond delivery, you will be expected to cultivate trust at the most senior levels of the client organization, identify opportunities to expand the engagement, and represent our firm with the credibility and gravitas that a top-tier banking client expects. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable configuring system integrations and presenting a migration roadmap to an executive steering committee.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from a top-tier university in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in procurement technology, with hands-on, deep technical expertise across SAP Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Supplier Risk, Buying and InvoicingDemonstrated experience leading at least one full-cycle procurement platform migration or large-scale implementation as the senior technical and functional lead, not solely in an advisory capacityStrong employment pedigree with experience at recognized consulting firms, global technology companies, or major financial institutionsProven ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior Managing Director-level and C-suite stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional maturity, business judgment, and executive communication skillsStrong understanding of end-to-end procure-to-pay processes, including 3-way match requirements, approval workflows, vendor master data management, and ERP integration patterns, ideally within financial services or banking environmentsAbility to conduct deep-dive discovery sessions on procurement workflows, analyze existing configurations and data structures (Vendor Master, PO, Invoice, Receipt), and personally design solutions rather than delegating technical problem-solvingExperience with integration assessments including API workflow validation, SFTP/data exchange requirements, and security and permissions modelingStrong project management experience with the ability to build implementation plans covering phases, timelines, dependencies, and risk mitigation while managing client expectations and engagement economicsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the polish and confidence to lead executive briefings, steering committees, and onsite workshopsA self-starter with strong business drive — someone who takes ownership of outcomes, proactively identifies risks and opportunities, and operates with an owner's mindset toward both client success and firm growthDesired QualificationsMBA or Master's degree from a top-tier programHands-on experience with GEP SMART or comparable cloud-based procurement platformsIn-depth knowledge of SAP Procurement and experience integrating SAP with third-party procurement systems for the complete procure-to-pay processPrior consulting experience leading engagements at large banks or financial institutions, with an understanding of the regulatory, compliance, and operational nuances of the sectorExperience with supplier enablement, including onboarding and catalog enablement on a new platformKnowledge of software licensing models, SaaS contracting, and IT sourcing sub-categories such as cloud services, telecom, and managed servicesTrack record of growing client relationships and identifying follow-on engagement opportunitiesFamiliarity with advanced spend analytics and experience operationalizing AI or automation use cases within procurementBenefits:Healthcare insurance for you and your family (medical, dental, vision).Short / Long term disability insurance.Life Insurance.Accidental death & disability Insurance.401K.3 weeks of Paid Time Off.Support and fee coverage for immigration needs.Remote office set up stipend.Support for industry certifications.Additional cash incentives.Re-skilling opportunities to transition between technologies.Schedule: Monday to FridayWork Mode: HybridJob Type: Full-timeWe are: A high end technical consulting firm built and run by highly qualified technologists.
