General Description\nThe Cost Accountant Analyst will collect and analyze financial information\nrelated to the organizations expenses, seeking ways to improve accuracy of\nbudgets and forecast, and to decrease the cost of assigned departments and\nprojects.\n\n2. Key Roles and Responsibilities\n\n 1. Gathers and complies cost information\n\n 2. Maintains database concerning cost and expenses\n\n 3. Performs monthly and year end closing\n\n 4. Analyzes expenses and cost transaction; ensures that transactions are\n recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and\n departments.\n\n 5. Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes\n breakdowns of project costs, forecast of remaining expenses, and\n opportunities to increase efficiency.\n\n 6. Conducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or\n business models.\n\n 7. Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as\n changing labor and supply costs.\n\n 8. Perform other related duties, as assigned.\n\n 9. Analyze and report the product and part cost\n\n 10. Create idea for improvement\n \n 3. Job Requirements\n \n 3-1. Work Experience\n Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office Suite or similar software\n as well as accounting software\n \n 3-2. Education\n \n - At least three years of related experience required\n - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required\n - Good ethical characteristics and behaviors\n - Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office Suite or similar software\n as well as accounting software-\n - Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures\n - The ability to work with minimal supervision \n - Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n - Excellent analytical skills\n \n\n\n
