We’re Hiring: 2nd Shift Shop SupervisorLocation: Bethlehem, PAJob Type: Full-TimeShift: 2nd Shift (2 PM – 11 PM)An established industrial machinery service organization is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Shop Supervisor to lead shop operations, oversee turbomachinery repair activities, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support 2nd shift shop operationsDisassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment and turbomachinery componentsCoordinate material movement, shipping, and receiving activitiesPerform inspections and measurements using precision instrumentsSupport balancing operations and machine tool setupsEnsure safety procedures and quality standards are followedMentor and coach team members in a fast-paced shop environmentQualifications5+ years of experience in manufacturing, rotating equipment, or turbomachinery repairPrior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in an industrial or machine shop environmentStrong leadership and organizational skillsExperience with compressors, turbines, valves, and related machinerySkilled in using precision measuring tools and shop equipmentAbility to work overtime, weekends, and in a physically active environmentHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMechanical-related post-secondary education is a plusMust-Have Screening RequirementsHands-on experience with rotating equipment / turbomachinery repair (compressors, turbines, etc.)Prior shop supervision or team lead experience in an industrial/machine shop environmentStrong skills using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)Experience with disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical equipmentBasic knowledge of dynamic balancing, machine tools, and leak testingExperience working with overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handlingStrong commitment to shop safety and quality standardsAbility to work 2nd shift (2 PM – 11 PM) plus overtime/weekends as neededWhat’s OfferedCompetitive benefits packagePaid Time OffMedical, Dental & Vision coverage401(k)Employee incentive and reimbursement programsLong-term career growth opportunitiesInterested candidates are encouraged to apply today.
