Position SummaryResponsible for compiling amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, other organizations, or individuals.This is a temporary roleEssential Responsibilities And AccountabilitiesOpen A/P mail, stamp and distributePrint invoices from “AP inbox”, stamp and distributeScan invoices for A/P departmentEnter US Service Orders and Journal EntriesEnter Canada Service Orders, PO’s and Journal EntriesBalance invoices to Daily Report each dayUpdate spreadsheets for specific vendors and upload into DAXEnter Canada RentsPerform account reconciliationsCreate Freight Tax Report for Tax Compliance ManagerInvoice accrualsFiling of paperworkAssist in any additional responsibilities, as directed by management.Competency RequirementsHave a working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in accountingKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)Educational & Experience Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or its equivalent required.Minimum one to two years of experience with Accounts PayablePhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The U.S. pay range for this position is $15.00 USD- $19.00 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
