We are looking for a full-time (40 hrs per week) sales professional with excellent people skills and a high level of integrity. The person who fills this position will play a key role in growing our retail channel in Montecito. We are looking for a proven leader who is passionate about the retail customer experience and has strong sales acumen. This person will be instrumental in executing the store's daily operations, driving sales, and cultivating the Montecito market. This candidate must have previous retail experience working in the fashion industry and be adept at building strong and lasting customer relationships.We are looking for someone who: Loves our product and the Freda Salvador brand Is professional, energetic and sets a positive tone for the storeLeads by example attitude with a growth mindsetIs aligned with our company's brand valuesHas a proven track record of managing a profitable and successful fashion storeIs proactive in engaging with their community, seeks event opportunities and partnershipsHas 5+ years specialty retail experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a manager roleEmploys strong communication skills across all platforms, both with colleagues and customersHas a strong ability to drive foot traffic and sales through strategic partnership and staff developmentHas demonstrated ability to successfully lead others in a product focused storeHas the ability to work independently and problem solve on the goAccessory and leather goods experience or passionTechnology competent is a must (Google Suite, Shopify, Endear and Bright Pearl experience is a plus).Store + Employee Management Guide the retail team to create a strong brand experience through demonstrating product knowledge and ensuring all team members are experts on product and the brandManage sales associates and train the team to always put customers firstCreate and promote customer relationships through strong clientelingBuild and maintain a loyal client base, and retain customer loyalty by providing clients with personalized service and engaging invitationsUphold & require extraordinary customer experience through all communication channels, including handling one-off customer requests such as customer repairs or exchangesAct as brand ambassador- engage customers on the brand, be knowledgeable of our product in customer interactions via multiple channels such as in-person, over the phone, and through written communication in EndearHandle all store maintenance in partnership with Regional ManagerOn call when any security issues arise within the storeHandle all on + offboarding of new employeesEventsDrive traffic and sales targets independently through events, private shopping, and community activationsWork with marketing team and 3rd party vendors to plan and execute in store events (customer facing, influencer facing, and 3rd party collaborations)Propose and host a minimum of 1 retail activation per quarterCoordinate all logistics of executing a successful in store event in partnership with Marketing and Regional ManagerStore Operations + Inventory Management Drive strong operational execution with day-to-day operations, leading the store to be productive, efficient, and profitableWeekly replenishment review and processingManage inventory and inventory reconciliation with the support of the Operations team, including receiving all inbound and outbound shipment and orders, as well as transfer orders. Uphold inventory accuracy in-store through weekly/monthly countsMaintaining standard operating procedures for order and inventory processes as they relate to the store Store merchandising - weekly refresh of store + re-merchandising the store when newness arrivesWork with Regional Manager to ensure aged inventory is removed from the store on a quarterly basisWork with HQ team to coordinate inventory transfer from the office to the storeCoordinate 3rd party vendor merchandise (orders, receiving, reorders, returns)Review monthly store, staffing and P&L budget Bank deposits biweeklyReportingPrepare and present Weekly Store Manager meeting deckPrepare and share all event recaps (3rd party events, company sales, special promotions)Prepare and share monthly new customer data Prepare and communicate to team information regarding sales Review marketing seasonal calendar to be sure there is alignment with marketing teamJob Details:Full time, 5 days per weekWeekend availability expected in order to successfully manage the team and drive salesFull day shifts of 7-8 hoursExperience is a must.
