Position: ParaplannerFirm: REAP Financial GroupLocation: Northwest Austin, TXOverview: REAP Financial Group is a boutique investment advisory firm that specializes in Retirement Planning. Our home office is in Northwest Austin, TX.The purpose of the Paraplanner is to provide superior service to our financial advisors, existing clients, and prospects. This position will support our financial advisors in servicing prospects by preparing for meetings, investment research, making preliminary financial planning recommendations and coordinating prospect meetings.What you’ll do:The research of information from providers of financial products, promoting and assisting with the sale of financial productsLiaison between the Advisors and team membersThorough notes are recorded during advisor appointments and promptly entered into CRM and retirement software systemsAssist in designing financial strategies by preparing case files, retirement analysis, social securityanalysis, Medicare analysis, and risk analysis reportsFollow-up with prospects to collect required financial statements and personal informationTrack and schedule all follow-up meetings until the Advisor closes businessAssist with preparing new client paperwork and collecting signatures as neededMaintain and track all open opportunities, make calls to prospects and cold leads, manage dripcampaigns and follow up with calls, emails, and gifts to prospective clients.Prepare documentation for appointments such as client presentations.Attend workshops; help with equipment set up and book appointments.Connect and build rapport with leads, prospects, and clients to better assist our Advisor(s).Commit to education by continually staying abreast of legislative changes in the industry as well as product knowledge.Maintain current Advisor’s licenses and appointments with agencies and companiesOrder & stock new business applications and marketing brochuresReceive incoming client service calls in a friendly, warm mannerWhat We’re Looking For: Prior experience working in financial industry required3+ years working with a Financial Advisor in a fast-paced office environmentTexas Life Insurance & Securities License(s) preferredProficiency in MacOSExcels in identifying problems quickly, efficiency, ownership of projects and detailed orientedBonus Points: Extremely flexible and having the ability to switch gears with ease as neededPeople-centric, creating a supportive and inclusive workspaceAbility to own projects from start to completionWhat You’ll Get: Pay & Perks: Health, Dental, and Vision (100% paid by company)PTOUnlimited Flex timeMaternity/Paternity leaveAfter 1 year:401(k) with generous matching and profit sharingHybrid-remote work from homeSummer FridaysParticipation in sales incentive bonusesQualification for company tripSchedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm or 8am-5pmSome weekday evenings (5:30pm-9pm) for client eventsPresented by Advisor Talent SolutionsAdvisor Talent Solutions, part of the AE Management, LLC family of companies, supports independent advisor businesses with their hiring needs.
